Hardwood Flooring Care 

• Never Wet Mop
• Never Apply Wax, Oil or Polish
• Use Protective furniture pads usually made of felt on the legs of furniture, chairs, any furniture that expects to be moved
• The room relative humidity should be kept at 45% to 60%
• Keep High Heels, Cleats, and other harmful shoes off the floor
• Stay away from consumer brand products sold in department and grocery stores
• Never use Orange Glo

 

Hardwood Flooring Cleaning and Maintenance

• Use a Recommended Non-Residue Floor cleaner and  Soft applicator mop
• To remove Tar or Gum use  mineral spirits lightly dampened with a soft applicator or white terry cloth
• To Clean Dust and Dirt use a soft bristle broom or set the highest setting on vacuum
• If the luster is lost a screen and re-coat may be applied (light sanding on top and a new coat of polyurethane to coat)
